About Canada Royal Arts High School

Welcome to Canada Royal Arts High School

Art is Life. It influences society by changing opinions, reshaping values and translating experiences across space and time. This is why it can be taken as a method – because of its potency to connect people, concepts and ideas in a more effective way than traditional approaches.

Mission and Vision:

Because of industrial educational systems, people are being taught out of their creative capacities. Canada Royal Arts High School Mission is to inspire students, their families and community into sensitive practices that allow reimagining the future together – developing academic skills but also self-expression, communication, hands-on creativity, respect for diversity, critical thinking and emotional intelligence.

The future will not be for those who only memorize and take notes – but for those who make the rules, break the patterns and trust their feelings. Canada Royal Arts High School Vision is to be a visionary arts-based school that allows students to live in a respectful, artistic and creative environment where they are not afraid to be themselves, to express their thoughts and to master their talents. Academically, Canada Royal Arts High School's goal is to have every single student accepted by their dream university, especially in creative fields such as Arts, Design, Architecture, Science and Engineering.

Head of school: Mr. Darling

Tips:

Successful artists don’t frame things around “not enough.” There is never enough time, not enough money, not enough confidence, not enough of whatever it is at that moment to make or do what you need to do to be a successful artist.

“They all point to an underlying fear of not being enough,” says art mentor and creator of The Working Artist, Crista Cloutier. “And, once you can deal with that underlying fear, the other issues fall into place.”

If you want to be a successful artist, you have to show up. You have to do the work. If you are like any other artist in the world, you probably have said to yourself at one time something along the lines of,  I can’t go to the studio today because I’m too busy or too heartbroken or other excuses.
